Biography
This act is an experienced London based professional String Quartet with an unusually diverse repertoire.
The quartet play standard music from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Modern eras. What sets them apart is that they also play jazz standards, rock, pop, film, and folk music. Much of this music is arranged specially for the quartet by their lead violinist, Julian.
You can book this act for concerts, weddings, civil ceremonies, corporate events, functions and parties etc. They are experienced in helping you select appropriate music for your event; you can either choose music from the extensive repertoire list, or commission an arrangement of music that will make your event personal and memorable for you.
They are four international soloists/chamber musicians with a passion for playing chamber music together.
During their years spent playing together, the group has given many performances including those at Lauderdale House, All Saints Blackheath, St John’s Hyde Park, The Lansdowne Club Mayfair, The Wallace Collection London and Corpus Christi College Cambridge.
The members of the quartet have played independently of one another in recitals throughout the U.K & Europe including France, Hungary, Poland, Germany & the Czech Republic before bringing their variety of experience together in this latest project.
As well as the standard Classical repertoire, the group has an active interest in Jazz, Klezmer, Irish, Bluegrass & Contemporary music.
