They have a rich and diverse repertoire list ranging from baroque
favourites such as Pachelbel’s Canon or Bach’s Air on a G String, through

If there is a particularly special piece that we don’t yet have, we can
usually find or arrange it.
THE MUSICIANS
Kate (Cello)
Kate gained a degree in music from Manchester University, where she studied cello with Bernard Gregor-Smith, latterly of the Lindsay String Quartet.
After postgraduate study with Stefan Popov at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Kate lived for 15 years in Nottingham where she was in demand as a freelance orchestral player, chamber musician and teacher.
Since moving to Malvern in 2000, Kate has played regularly with string quartets and orchestras in the region, and is a co-founder of a string quartet and this trio. Much as she loves playing string quartets, Kate particularly enjoys playing the piano trio repertoire as it gives the cello more tunes!
