Biography
This Dorset String Quartet was formed in 1998 by musicians from several of Britain's leading orchestras, and has since performed many concerts throughout the UK. Our members have played for celebrities, opera stars, heads of state and royalty.
Based in Southern England, we are available to play for weddings and receptions, civil partnership ceremonies, corporate functions and private parties, where we can provide delightful and entertaining music to suit the exact occasion
The Quartet has a wide and distinctive repertoire covering all musical genres, from Bach and Mozart through to all kinds of popular music; from Opera to the Musicals, pop hits and rock classics. We are often able to commission new arrangements of special requests. Our first priority is to entertain and delight our audiences and clients.
